Lumberjacks is a strategy game for 2–6 players in which each player manages a crew of 3 lumberjacks across a full year, structured as 24 rounds. Players compete to harvest timber, invest in their operations, and adapt to shifting seasonal conditions, all while managing limited resources and reacting to events affecting the whole table.
Players win by building the most successful logging operation delivering the most logs by year's end, balancing short-term harvesting opportunities against long-term investment and adaptability. The game emphasizes meaningful player agency and avoids dominant strategies, so no single path to victory is optimal in every game — success depends on reading the season, managing your role's strengths, and adapting as conditions change.
