This is a spinoff of the classic game Betrayal at House on the Hill, flavored with Scooby-Doo lore and featuring simpler, family-friendly rules. Everyone starts off exploring a mansion, looking for clues. Then, a member of the gang disappears and that player takes on the role of the villain.
