RinCon 2026

In the Olympics, the modern pentathlon tests an athlete's skill in five different events. In this event, gamers will be tested in five different board games that each use a different primary mechanic. Who will emerge as the RinCon board game champion?

Each participant will play these games:
-Akropolis (tile placement)
-Mountain Goats (king of the hill)
-Canal Houses (set collection)
-Canvas (ordering/drafting)
-Trailblazers (route construction)

All games will be taught, but prior familiarity will benefit players. Players will have different sets of opponents for each game, and the winner will be determined from the outcome across all five games. All participants will receive a participation prize, and there will be a special prize for those who finish in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places overall.
