A curse has been placed on the Valley of Life. Hearing the spirits of nature cry out for aid, clans of druids have arrived, determined to use their blessings to heal the land and rescue the spirits. It will require courage and also caution, as the curse can overwhelm the careless who wield too much power.

In Mystic Vale, 2 to 4 players take on the role of druidic clans trying to cleanse the curse upon the land. Each turn, you play cards into your field to gain powerful advancements and useful vale cards. Use your power wisely, or decay will end your turn prematurely. Score the most victory points to win the game!

Mystic Vale uses the innovative "Card Crafting System", which lets you not only build your deck, but build the individual cards in your deck, customizing each card's abilities to exactly the strategy you want to follow.

In this semi-cooperative game, players plan a vacation, then try to survive it together, taking on roles of family members on a trip. Items, player stats, decision making and die rolling will determine outcomes ranging from epic experiences to total disasters, while the group tries to survive the hilarious highs and lows of traveling together. The goal is to keep the family happy while collecting memories that will determine who truly had the best vacation. The game captures that strange truth about vacations: things can go completely wrong, but somehow become the stories you laugh about for years.

This is my first attempt at making a board game and is a prototype. The idea for was born after a particularly awful overseas family cruise where nearly everyone got hurt or sick.

VRacer: Hoverbike is a fast-paced, combat racing game for 2-6 players, based on the VR game of the same name, where victory depends as much on smart bidding as it does on smart racing. Before the race begins, players draft a hand of Weapon Cards through a tense auction — every credit you spend is gone for good, whether you win the auction or not, and how much you spend determines your starting position on the grid. Spend big to guarantee the best weapons and start dead last, or hang back, save your credits, and take Pole Position with a thinner hand.
Once the race starts, each turn is a simple choice: roll the die for a safe, predictable move, or play your Active Card for a bigger push down the track paired with a weapon or ability — missiles, mines, homing attacks, EMPs, and more, each with their own range and risk. Power-Up spaces let you refresh your hand mid-race, Turbo spaces reward tight racing lines, and Shields offer a one-time bailout when a rival has you lined up. Every decision trades movement now against firepower later, all the way to the finish line.

Welcome ashore! Merchants Cove is a highly asymmetrical eurogame where each player assumes the role of a different fantasy merchant with a unique shop. The merchants contend to sell their goods to the arriving adventurers at the cove’s piers—the most famous markets in the Five Realms. Each player uses their own set of role-specific components and gameplay mechanisms to produce their goods, increase their shop’s efficiency, and—most importantly—get rich!

Though the merchants work independently in their specialized shops, they compete against each other to attract customers, influence the demands for goods, and secure sponsorships from the four faction halls. To get an edge, merchants can employ local townsfolk to work in their shops as staff. Or if they dare to cut corners, they can gain leverage from the corrupt lair of rogues—but at what cost? The first participant to master all the posed assignments wins the favor of the father of the gods himself.

Indubitably, you will not pass up this golden opportunity, so you clear your ship and rally your crew to follow on the trails of legendary Odysseus through the dangerous waters of the Aegean. But how could you find the righteous path onward? There is but one who can help you. Visit the mysterious oracle of Delphi and let her answers guide your ways.

In Stefan Feld's new game The Oracle of Delphi, the player's ships travel across a large variable game board of hexagonal tiles showing islands and the surrounding waters. Each player aims to reach certain islands to perform the twelve tasks given by Zeus: e.g., to collect offerings of different colors and to deliver them to corresponding temples, or to slay monsters of a specific type (and color), all of which can be discovered on the islands.

In order to execute these color-dependent actions, you are given three colored dice each turn, the so-called "oracle dice". Rolling the dice (at the start of the turn) is equivalent to consulting the oracle, whereas the results represent her answers. The answers determine which actions you will be able to take, but you will always have three actions per turn. However, a slight divergence from your fate is often possible.

You start each round by drafting your tiles from the sets available in the common pool, then you place your routes in front of you, trying to make as many connections as possible; be careful not to lock yourself in with choices that are too constraining. Each round, you can also place cars, trains, or travelers to populate the tiny little landscape you're creating - as long as you have free space on your tiles. The available actions change from round to round, so you need to prepare in advance!

Song of the Sekuta is a role-playing game set within the World of COLONY, a fantastical universe centered around the lives, cultures, and adventures of the Sekuta – evolutions of modern insects. The Sekuta’s world of Aoiama is vast and rich with lore, mythology, religions, and characters to explore, much of which will be available to read and enjoy in this game’s manual.

This game is a unique blend between traditional pen/paper/dice RPGs, a deck–building element inspired by living card game models, as well as war game mechanics.

This can currently be played in two formats:
A PvP skirmish format called Arena (playable with 2+ players) (~1 hour)
A PvE role-playing format called Adventure (playable with 3+ players) (1 hour+)

This game is still in development. What players will experience during their time at the table reflects an unfinished demo of the game. We are a small team seeking funding opportunities, with passion and dedication to push forward toward our goals. While our resources are scarce, we make do with what we have in technical knowledge, artistic talent and skill, and a hope that our diligent labor will one day bear fruit. We are still iterating and testing many parts of the game, which we hope our most recent public demo will help shed light on where we can improve our system and design.

If there is anything more to this so-called “Beast of Birchfrost,” I am sure that the slightest change in circumstance might herald a dangerous change in the Beast, one the Archive would do well to mind. — K.H.W. The Beast of Birchfrost takes place on the shores of the Lake of Mists and Veils, where tales of the town’s local cryptid appear to have changed from a local protector to something more sinister. The PCs will have to track and confront whatever this creature is to get to the bottom of the local tales.

DA:2e05 - Even the Dark Archive can’t keep tabs on every single club or society, which is why it’s so vital to cultivate connections with those who can. Vir Zhees has long helped us keep tabs on the various societies in Absalom high society, her shrewd interpersonal skills, social position, and long elven lifespan making her uniquely suited for the task. Shaking the Helping Hand takes place in the Petal District of Absalom. On the request of a wealthy patron who had been targeted by a mysterious secret society, the PCs attend an opera. The patron fears that this society will attempt to sabotage a meeting that she is holding with proxies for government officials. In fact, the secret society, known as the Helping Hand, had come to the opera to stop the patron and proxies from abducting servants and trading them away to traffickers from Shadow Absalom. If the PCs uncover the truth, they can stop these abductions and assist the Helping Hand with exposing these criminals from Absalom’s high society.

This event includes a full explanation of the rules, and the complexity is low, so all players are welcome. Learning and playing the game should take about 60 minutes.

Dominoes with a kingdom building twist. Each turn, connect a new domino to your existing kingdom, making sure at least one of its sides connects to a matching terrain type already in play. The game mechanics for obtaining the tiles is clever: the order of who picks first depends on which tile was previously chosen. In this semi-cooperative game, players plan a vacation, then try to survive it together, taking on roles of family members on a trip. Items, player stats, decision making and die rolling will determine outcomes ranging from epic experiences to total disasters, while the group tries to survive the hilarious highs and lows of traveling together. The goal is to keep the family happy while collecting memories that will determine who truly had the best vacation. The game captures that strange truth about vacations: things can go completely wrong, but somehow become the stories you laugh about for years.

This is my first attempt at making a board game and is a prototype. The idea for was born after a particularly awful overseas family cruise where nearly everyone got hurt or sick.

7th Sea: City of Five Sails is an expandable card game set in the swashbuckling world of the 7th Sea roleplaying game by John and Jennifer Wick, and Kevin Wilson. Players control one of five factions as they fight to influence, control, and explore the independent and unruly city of Five Sails. It is typically played with two players, but multiplayer variants will allow more players to get into the game.

During the game, each player represents a leader who, along with their allies, explore locations and fight both with swords and with wits for overall influence over the city. Along with each player’s individual deck, 7th Sea: City of Five Sails also includes an element of randomness in the form of a separate, shared deck that represents the city itself with unusual characters, items, and events that change the focus of the game. Combat is resolved in a unique “back and forth” style reminiscent of challenging swordplay.

Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (bridge) , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle and tells everyone what to do.

Carcassonne is a tile placement game in which the players draw and place a tile with a piece of southern French landscape represented on it. The tile might feature a city, a road, a cloister, grassland or some combination thereof, and it must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, in such a way that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, et cetera. Having placed a tile, the player can then decide to place one of their meeples in one of the areas on it: in the city as a knight, on the road as a robber, in the cloister as a monk, or in the field as a farmer. When that area is complete that meeple scores points for its owner.

One night after her mother cooked dinner, a young girl, frustrated with these restrictions, took a bit of ash and roots and cast the red and white embers into the sky, forming the milky way and the other stars, in an attempt to illuminate the night so the villagers could safely collect resources necessary for their survival.

Song of the Sekuta is a role-playing game set within the World of COLONY, a fantastical universe centered around the lives, cultures, and adventures of the Sekuta – evolutions of modern insects. This game is a unique blend between traditional pen/paper/dice RPGs, a deck–building element inspired by living card game models, as well as war game mechanics.

This can currently be played in two formats:

A PvE role-playing format called Adventure (playable with 3+ players) (1 hour+)

This game is still in development. What players will experience during their time at the table reflects an unfinished demo of the game. We are a small team seeking funding opportunities, with passion and dedication to push forward toward our goals. While our resources are scarce, we make do with what we have in technical knowledge, artistic talent and skill, and a hope that our diligent labor will one day bear fruit. Her contact isn't giving connections and a site for a lodge away for free. Something has been harassing shipping, and while the authorities are happy to let merchants take a longer route, the change has cost a particular merchant dearly. If the Pathfinders can clear up the shipping lanes, the merchant will move heaven and earth to get them a foothold in Iblydos.

A fearsome dragon is threatening to burn all the villages in the kingdom! Luckily, dragons are greedy, so if you can bribe him with treasures from the battlefield like a barbarian's axe or a phoenix feather, you might persuade him to spare your village. Unfortunately, other villagers in the kingdom have the same idea. Who can best time their bribes to ensure their treasures are most valued by the dragon when the game comes to an end?

In Please Don't Burn My Village!, which is set in the world of Castle Panic, you want to bribe with the right treasure at the right time to keep the dragon's attention — while buying treasures at the black market and cursing the other villagers' treasures. When no treasure remains, the dragon will burn all of the villages except one. Will yours be the one that survives?

In more detail, players hold a hand of treasure cards that they can use to 1) bribe the dragon, 2) buy more treasure cards from the black market, or 3) draw a treasure card. When they bribe the dragon, they place the cards in sets in front of them, move the token up in value in the dragon's favor, and deal more cards into the black market.

If they instead choose to buy at the black market, they pay from their hand the number of cards indicated on a black market stall, take the cards from that stall into their hand, and move down a treasure in the dragon's favor that matches one of the cards they used to buy their cards. The number of spaces a player moves a token up (when bribing the dragon) or down (when buying at the black market) equals the number cards played. If players don't want to affect the values in the dragon's favor or are out of cards, they can simply draw a card.

The game features a push-your-luck ending: every time someone bribes the dragon, cards are turned over and placed in the black market spaces until a matching card or wild is revealed. When no card is found and the deck runs out, the game ends, play stops and players add any cards in their hand

It is the most fun, competitive, and challenging game you will ever play.

We combined the challenge of puzzles with the competitiveness of board games, and were able to develop the Uzzle.

Shuffle the playing cards and leave them stacked in the center of the table. Then distribute 5 blocks to each player. Flip over the top card and race to see who can solve the Uzzle first by matching the blocks to the pattern on the card. Once you finish, shout "Uzzle!" and grab the card. After taking the card, let the other players examine whether you have correctly arranged your blocks. If you have correctly solved the Uzzle, you get to keep the card and now have 1 win. Players vote on how many wins to play to.

Imagine being the Captain of your own star ship. Come join us with your crew and fly around the galaxy in a star ship, killing bad guys, being amazed by space dragons, and avoiding black holes! Operate the ship together, and defend the sector from evil aliens.

Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the main screen, while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do, like Helm, Communication, Science, Engineering, and Weapon Control. Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (bridge) , and while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle and tells everyone what to do.

We will have 2 full bridges and some fighter stations, so you can do joint or head to head missions.

A fearsome dragon is threatening to burn all the villages in the kingdom! Luckily, dragons are greedy, so if you can bribe him with treasures from the battlefield like a barbarian's axe or a phoenix feather, you might persuade him to spare your village. Unfortunately, other villagers in the kingdom have the same idea. Who can best time their bribes to ensure their treasures are most valued by the dragon when the game comes to an end?

In Please Don't Burn My Village!, which is set in the world of Castle Panic, you want to bribe with the right treasure at the right time to keep the dragon's attention — while buying treasures at the black market and cursing the other villagers' treasures. When no treasure remains, the dragon will burn all of the villages except one. Will yours be the one that survives?

In more detail, players hold a hand of treasure cards that they can use to 1) bribe the dragon, 2) buy more treasure cards from the black market, or 3) draw a treasure card. When they bribe the dragon, they place the cards in sets in front of them, move the token up in value in the dragon's favor, and deal more cards into the black market.

If they instead choose to buy at the black market, they pay from their hand the number of cards indicated on a black market stall, take the cards from that stall into their hand, and move down a treasure in the dragon's favor that matches one of the cards they used to buy their cards. The number of spaces a player moves a token up (when bribing the dragon) or down (when buying at the black market) equals the number cards played. If players don't want to affect the values in the dragon's favor or are out of cards, they can simply draw a card.

The game features a push-your-luck ending: every time someone bribes the dragon, cards are turned over and placed in the black market spaces until a matching card or wild is revealed. When no card is found and the deck runs out, the game ends, play stops and players add any cards in their hand
